What can I expect on my first visit?

If you want to download our office forms to speed up the process, click here for New Patient Forms.  We will usually do a consultation, exam and take x- rays on the first visit.  We will adjust your spine and do what ever therapy is needed.  This usually takes about thirty minutes.  We will then schedule you for another day to review your x-rays, so that the doctor has time to thoroughly analyze them, and will review them with you and adjust you again on the follow up visit.  This usually takes about twenty minutes.  Further testing will be ordered on an as needed basis.

What is an adjustment?

A Chiropractic adjustment is given to align the vertebra in order to take pressure off of the spinal cord and nerves. This will restore proper nerve supply to the body’s organs, thus normalizing bodily function. An optimally functioning spine equals optimal health.

How does an adjustment feel and how long will it take?

Patients report that being adjusted feels great! Occasionally the individual could have a little soreness after the first adjustment because of the changes being made to the spinal structure. An adjustment takes only a minute or two, but the vital nerve energy it releases can last for hours, days, or even weeks, depending on the stage of your care.

Is Chiropractic Safe?

While 2,000 people will die from aspirin this year and thousands more from surgery and drug reactions, chiropractic is safe, so safe that malpractice for chiropractors costs a fraction of what other types of physicians pay.

What research has been done on Chiropractic?
